Judas Kiss

Is there
but one love,

a solitary flower,
a single sunset?

I have not thought
of you often-

at least,
not once.

Like the last line, but wonder what it means...

It means that the singular events of love, although replicated in some other forms, cannot be denied.
And the construction of an initial quandry regarding exclusivity, though true, does not lend itself to the self-denying forms of love.
I am sure that explanation must puzzle you even more than the verses... but that is the point!
